  • Contribute positively to the collective memory map

4Location & Safety

When creating memories in public spaces:

  • Always respect local laws and regulations
  • Never encourage trespassing or unsafe behavior
  • Consider cultural significance before creating memories
  • Respect private property boundaries
  • Be mindful of sensitive locations (memorials, etc.)
Safety First: EchoPlace uses approximate locations only. We never store or display precise GPS coordinates to protect your privacy and safety.

5Resonance Over Metrics

EchoPlace rejects social media engagement patterns:

  • No public like counts or popularity metrics
  • "Resonance" as private acknowledgment
  • Quality over quantity in all interactions
  • No algorithmic amplification
  • Equal visibility for all memories

6Account & Termination

Account management rights and responsibilities:

  • You can close your account at any time
  • Upon closure, your content can be deleted or anonymized per your choice
  • We may suspend accounts violating these terms after warning
  • Beta period may end with 30 days notice
  • You'll receive export options before any service changes
